Our Process

Every Oehl piece begins as a design born in our Vancouver studio, where form and function are shaped together from the start. We source solid hardwoods locally in Canada, selecting each piece of timber for its grain character and structural integrity. From there—carving, shaping, and hand-finishing—transform raw material into sculptural forms. Precision-engineered glass elements and modern LED technology are then carefully integrated, marrying
old-world craftsmanship with energy-efficient performance. Each fixture is assembled and inspected by hand in our East Vancouver studio, ensuring the quality and attention to detail that only small-batch, artisan production can deliver.
